Vanilla vodka is used to create unique flavor combinations in these flavored martini recipes.

One of the most common ways to drink vanilla vodka is to mix it with cola soda; however, there are so many great ways to use vanilla vodka, especially in martini recipes. Vanilla vodka works particularly well in dessert-inspired cocktails. Each of the following vanilla vodka martini recipes also include suggestions for garnishing, which enhances the cocktails even further.

Cherry Vanilla Martini

Cherry vanilla is a classic flavor combination and this martini provides a satisfying balance of sweet and tart

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Vanilla Vodka
  • 1 oz. Cherry Pucker
  • 1 oz. Grenadine
  • 1 oz. Heavy Cream

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a Maraschino Cherry or an edible flower.

Orange Creamsicle Martini

This martini is based upon the classic frozen orange creamsicle pop.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Vanilla Vodka
  • 2 oz Orange Juice
  • 1 oz. Heavy Cream

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an orange slice placed along the rim of the martini glass.

Very Berry Cheesecake Martini

Vanilla vodka and cream create the perfect combination for a cheesecake-inspired martini. This martini is also loaded with berry flavor, and proves to be the ultimate dessert cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Vanilla Vodka
  • 1 oz Strawberry Vodka
  • 1 oz. Blackberry Schnapps
  • 1 oz. Blueberry Vodka
  • 1 oz Heavy Cream

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a fresh blueberry and a fresh strawberry placed at the top of a skewer or arrow pick and placed inside the cocktail, with the berries leaning against the rim of the glass.

Vanilla Coffee Martini

Vanilla vodka works well in fruity or dessert-inspired martinis; however, these are not the only types of cocktails vanilla vodka can be used in. In this cocktail, the vanilla vodka heightens the flavor of this coffee martini.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Vanilla Vodka
  • 1 oz Vodka
  • 2 oz Coffee Liquor
  • 1 oz Heavy Cream

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with three coffee beans floating atop the filled martini glass.

Vanilla Sunrise Martini

Vanilla vodka adds a subtle variation on the traditional vodka sunrise cocktail in this martini recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Vanilla Vodka
  • 2 oz Orange Juice
  • 1 oz. Grenadine

Preparation

In a martini glass, pour the grenadine into the bottom of the glass. In a shaker filled with ice, combine the vanilla vodka and the orange juice. Shake well and then strain into the martini glass with the grenadine; pour slowly to create the visual appearance of a sunrise. The color combinations in this martini and the visual appearance of a sunrise can stand on their own without any additional garnish.
